Tutorial 2  

From this:  To this:

Start with this image:

crop it so it looks like this:

Now, the first thing you'll want to do, is use the crop tool () to outline peter and cut him out (ctrl 'x'J) and re-paste him in a new layer (Make sure you delete the layer you cut him out of). You're icon should look like this:

Now duplicate the base layer and set it to 'Screen'. Now duplicate the screen layer, and set it to 'Soft light'. This is the result:

Next, select the soft light layer, and go to image-adjustments-color balance. Set cyan to -72, and Yellow to -48. Result:

We are now going to take this texture:

and put it under all the other layers:

Go to the base layer, and put a 'stroke size: 3' on it. (Make sure to make the color of the stroke white)

To finish, add text and such. Here is the finished result:
